Prague Oil paints are made of high-quality vegetable oil and top organic and inorganic pigments. Oil paints contain additional components, waxes and driers that enhance their features and stability. Pigments with the required resistance to the light, coverage, purity and strength, are purchased from leading European manufacturers.
Binders of oil paints are linseed and safflower oil.Linseed oil dries faster and so does the hard layer of safflower oil, but becomes yellow over time. Thus the safflower oil is used to produce brighter colors.
Turpentine oil is mixed with linseed oil and safflower and accelerates drying.
